Another 40k TTS table

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to share something I’ve been working on for a while—a fork of Hutber’s map (shared with permission), now available on the Steam Workshop: [link] and the code is on [Github]

This project started as a small personal tweak, but gradually grew into something more intentional: a lightweight, actively maintained alternative that focuses on smooth gameplay, clarity, and quality-of-life improvements. The goal isn’t to reinvent the wheel, but to refine and build on a strong foundation.

A few highlights in this version include:

• VP/CP overlay for easier and faster score tracking • Improved chess clock for smoother turn management • Expanded dice features (including D3 support and quick right-click rolling) • Cleaner handling of drawn lines and bubbles • UI improvements with removal of unused or cluttered elements • A more developer-friendly PowerShell compiler for easier iteration and customization

I’ve also reworked how external integrations are handled, aiming to make the map more self-contained and reliable without unnecessary dependencies.

One notable feature that isn’t included yet is dynamic map generation—but it’s actively in development. I’m experimenting with different approaches, and I’m looking forward to sharing progress on that soon.

Looking ahead, there are a few areas I’m actively focusing on next. First and foremost, I want to address bugs quickly and keep the map stable with regular fixes and updates. Alongside that, I’ll be continuing to refine the UI overlay to make information clearer and more accessible during play. I’m also planning to expand the toolset further, with features like a unit highlighter and other utilities to streamline gameplay and reduce friction at the table. And of course, a big portion of ongoing work will go into the dynamic map creator, which I hope will become a standout feature over time.

More broadly, the vision for this fork is simple: keep things focused, responsive, and consistently updated, while staying true to the gameplay experience people already enjoy. This exists because of the work that came before it, standing on the shoulders of giants, with Hutber and ftc paving the way.I want to respect that by continuing to improve and maintain something the community can rely on.

If you decide to check it out, I’d really appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or ideas. This is very much an evolving project, and community input will help shape where it goes next.

Thanks for taking a look!
